Language Study Lab - Language Learning Structures

Language study lab structures

language structure include the conventions and compulsions that focus the real purpose of language; i.e., the convergence and communication of meaning.

Language structues depend upon common modes. For example, spelling words aloud would hinder communication if every word were spelled out...but spelling words aloud can assist if strange, unique or technical words must be communicated.

Or, pen and ink writing might server for letters, but fail to serve for blind or partially-sighted people...or for lectures, where flip charts nd markers, or projectors are needed.

Language structures can be considered to be "basic" or "complex." Words might come from simple, advanced, technical, medical or professional vocabularies.

Structures can be crude or elegant, subtle or gross; accompanied with facial exprssions or gestures; whispered.
